Chamades urbaines – Cie Sémaphore

📖 Program: (2025) Simona is an urban observer. Unable to bear being locked in an office, she sets up at a café terrace and begins her work of observation.

There, she meets Pierrette, a waitress. When Simona has questions, Pierrette draws the city, transforming it with chalk.
Together, they attempt to answer our essential questions: « Do you know what people are like? » « Where do men go to cry? »
Simona finds meaning in the (seemingly) insignificant things of our daily lives.
She stretches all these ordinary little things into questions.
The show aims to be rooted in the city where it is performed and to speak about the people who live there.
It seeks to inspire a desire to claim the urban space as one’s own — to take the time to observe it, spot details, leave our traces, and express our « chamades » (the frantic beating of the heart).
Because a city’s heart lies in the people within it — the ones who make it beat.

Grains – Cie Simon Feltz

📖 Program: (2024) With « GRAINS », a work created for six performers, Simon Feltz continues his exploration of the relationship between language and the body. For this piece, he focuses on the progression of the interplay between speech and physicality within a specific timeframe: the carnal encounter. As physical contact between the partners intensifies, verbal communication recedes — eventually all but vanishing — to make way for a more primal mode of communication aimed, in part, at expressing pleasure. This fluidity between modes of communication lies at the heart of the work. As the performers’ bodies draw closer, their vocal scores transform. Letting language fade away to surrender to the touch of the other, the dancers’ bodies become a single wave: a wave of words breaking against the reef of ecstasy.

Apothéose Now – Mounia Raoui

📖 Program: (2022) Immersive sound mixing for the show « Apothéose Now » by the « Compagnie Toutes nos histoires », featuring Mounia Raoui, at the Salle Europe in Colmar.
« Apothéose Now is a poetic manifesto — another way of telling the story of « The Last Day I Was Little ».
A concert format open to new audiences, spaces, and ways of listening.
Both the standard concert and the headphone concert expand the possibilities of performance and offer a different way for the artistic message to circulate. »

Gelatina – Cie Les Gladiateurs

📖 Program: (2020) Immersive composition by Jean Lucas and Romain Muller.
« Gelatina is an interactive project blending lighting and musical design.
It is a performance where the narrative unfolds through interaction with specific objects: jellyfish.
It aims to awaken the senses of the youngest audience members through tactile engagement with the material, inviting them to immerse themselves in a three-dimensional world where every interaction with the set triggers specific lighting or a unique sound. »

Bobok – Cie Voix point comme

📖 Program: (2016) Immersive mixing and arrangements for the show « Bobok » by the company « Voix point comme », performed at « Espace Europe » in Colmar and on tour across Alsace.
« Bobok, the short story by Fyodor Dostoevsky, is a phantasmagorical tale set in a cemetery — an extravagant, almost surreal story where the dead come back to life underground and form a new social microcosm that overturns the hierarchy of the world above.
Major Dostoevskian themes are all present, ranging from metaphysical pain and anguish to the issue of abolishing all moral imperatives — the concept that ‘everything is permitted’.
The story’s narrator is a failed writer living on the fringes of society, teetering on the edge of madness. Through his acute and painful consciousness, he sees and hears things inaccessible to the world around him.
The story depicts a sort of fantastic, carnivalesque banquet where everyone voices their opinions and settles scores, and where provocation is unleashed freely and without restraint.
The speeches from beyond the grave and the dialogues between the dead are bold and unbridled, yet they are also marked by lightness and humor. »

Ici – Cie 12:21

📖 Program: (2014) Immersive mixing and soundtrack creation for the show « Ici » (Here) by the « 12:21 » company, performed at « TAPS Gare » in Strasbourg.
This production was selected by the City of Strasbourg as part of a 2013 call for performing arts projects centred on the theme of interculturality.
It is co-produced by the City of Strasbourg.
What is interculturality?
What reality does it reflect, and towards what utopia does it lead us?
These reflections inspired Fatou Ba and her team to create a show blending acting, video, puppetry, and music.
Their goal was to better tell the story of cultural blending — the patchwork that is humanity — and the cosmopolitan nature of the city of Strasbourg.
Built upon words gathered during workshops and exchanges filmed by the movie director Gilles Porte — featuring people « from here who come from elsewhere » — this work examines our shared history.
« Affirming the intercultural is a way of acknowledging the importance of distinguishing between cultures while bearing witness to the bonds between them, and of reflecting on identity in both its uniqueness and its plural construction. »

Traverse – Django Reinhardt Cultural Center

📖 Program: (2013) Immersive sound mixing for the show « Traverse », the season opener at the Django Reinhardt Cultural Center in Strasbourg.
Art is a gateway to the world — an outstretched hand reaching out to meet others and share moments of life together. This show, launching the 2013 – 2014 season, embodies that spirit.
To ensure a truly festive atmosphere and set the tone for an exceptional season, the performance blends music, theater, dance, song, and much more. Artists from the previous season extend a hand to the artists coming to the Django Reinhardt Cultural Center the upcoming year.
